Kocowisch
Kocowisch is a collaboration between electro technical genius Koen Coppens and Studio Willem Schouten. The two met in a small hardware store in the centre of Utrecht where Koen worked as a side job to his study. Willem, who studied at the Design Academy Eindhoven at the time, loved to roam the store looking for parts. The two got talking. Discussing their highly specific tinker/maker issues, they soon realized that they wanted to create something together. Willem and Koen share a determination to make the seemingly impossible possible for the sake of creating durable and functional design objects of the highest possible quality and undeniable beauty. Kocowisch launched their Kocohedron Collection during the Salone del Mobile in Milan, generating an enthusiastic response worldwide.
Studio Willem Schouten was responsible for the concept, the look and feel and the branding of the collaboration. From the first sketches of the lamps, the graphics and the design for the fairs until the release of the movie and small documentary made by J. Hammond. Do you want to know more about Kocowisch?
